description:

The purpose of this workshop is to provide the critical and material resources necessary for a select group of senior undergraduates to define and complete a substantial project in digital media. Students will write several versions of a proposal suitable for submission to a conference, competition, or granting agency. By the end of the term, students will have a working version of the proposed project that should substantially supplement their portfolios. In addition to a series of weekly milestones (see requirements) that culminate in a final project, students will work on individually assigned readings and exercises proposed by the professor in order to help students formulate and create their individually-defined project.
